RESOLUTION No. 56-2021; A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF STUART, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO ACCEPT A GRANT AMENDMENT OF THE CHILDREN'S SERVICES COUNCIL OF MARTIN COUNTY (CSCMC) IN THE AMOUNT OF $94,954.00 FOR THE EAST STUART YOUTH INITIATIVE PROGRAM; IF APPROVED, AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE AND EXPENDITURE OF THE CSCMC AMENDED GRANT, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

 


Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:

The Children's Service Council of Martin County (CSCMC) is changing their budget year (July 31 - June 30) to match the City of Stuart's  fiscal year (October 1 - September 30). The City of Stuart is accepting CSCMC's last quarterly funding of $94,954. A Budget Amendment is not necessary as this amount will not exceed the total grant amount of $378,814 adopted (R109-2020). 

Funding Source:

Accept $94,954 from CSCMC for the City of Stuart's last quarterly payment. This amount will not exceed the City of Stuart's grant allocation, and is a housekeeping item for CSCMC to end their budget year.
