Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
Request for Proposals# 2021-203 was advertised in the Palm Beach Post on March 25, 2021: Simultaneously released on-line (www.DemandStar.com) who notified 304 potential proposers and issued 12 RFP packages. Three (3) proposals were received by the closing time and date of 2:30 pm, April 15, 2021.
A three (3) member selection committee met on April 23, 2021, to discuss and evaluate the proposals based on the following criteria; the firms’ qualifications, pricing and compensation schedule, task approach, business plan, quality of submittal, and additional five (5) points to any firm that can accommodate alternate payment methods amongst their vendor base. Such alternate payment methods shall include, but not be limited to State and Federal Financial Assistance programs such as Snap, EBT, or equivalent. The selection committee collectively agreed the top ranked firm to be Stuart Main Street/Market on Main Downtown Stuart.
The selection committee requests authorization to commence negotiations with the top-ranked firm, Stuart Main Street of Stuart, Florida.
