Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
This solicitation was advertised in the Palm Beach Post on February 23, 2021. Simultaneously released on-line by DemandStar who notified 297 potential proposers and issued 25 RFP packages to planholders. The Stuart Procurement & Contracting Services Office issued one (1) RFP packages to individuals and firms who had expressed interest in proposing on this project. Two (2) proposals were received by the closing time and date of 2:30 pm, March 23, 2021.
A three (3) member selection committee evaluated the responses based on the following criterion: Management, organization, Expertise, Direct program experience, Proven leveraging strategies, Quality of references, Proposed fees; firms were ranked based on the established criteria. The Selection Committee determined that it was in the City’s best interest to award Guardian Community Resources Management, Inc.
