Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
On June 11, 2021, the City Commission adopted Ordinance 2366-2018, allowing for development of 30 attached homes located on the north side of Baker Road, within Parcel 2 of the New Avonlea PUD.
Conditions #61 and #63 of the approving ordinance requires plat approval prior to any development activity and that Parcels 2 and 12 may be platted separately. The owner now seeks approval of a plat for the "New Avonlea PUD First Replat" project.
The City's Consultant, Kimley-Horn and Associates has reviewed the plat for consistency with Chapter 177, Florida Statutes and the City's Land Development Code and provided comments which the applicant has addressed. See Kimley-Horn's final approval comments attached.
