Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
This solicitation was advertised in the Palm Beach Post on August 3, 2020. Simultaneously released on-line by DemandStar who notified 87 potential proposers and issued 26 RFP packages to planholders. Six (6) proposals were received by the closing time and date of 2:30 pm, Wednesday, August 26, 2020.
A three (3) member selection committee evaluated the responses based on the following criterion: Firm Qualifications, Structure components proposed, overall design, Pricing and Compensation Schedule, References and, Quality of submittal. The Selection Committee determined that it was in the City’s best interest to award MJD Construction, Inc.
