Attached is the revise plan for this streetscape improvement project which incorporates revisions to the design of SW McPherson Street that address concerns raised by the property owners along that street.

ORIGINAL PROJECT

The CRA allocated  $300,000 for the Frazier Crescent Subdivision Streetscape Improvement Project.  The City Commission awarded the bid to the lowest bidder at the price total of $252,306.55.  

The improvements include pervious concrete pavement for a two-way street on SW 6^th Street, install storm catch basin and pipe under SW Channel Avenue to address flooding, convert SW McPherson Street to a one-way street using existing asphalt for a sidewalk and providing sod as a buffer between the vehicular traffic and sidewalk,  remove SW California Avenue, reconfigure exit of SW McPherson with SW Channel Avenue to eliminate right turn, reconfigure SW 7th Street and SW Channel Avenue intersection, and continue the sidewalk along the south side of SW 7^th Street to connect with US Highway 1. 

PROPOSED REVISIONS

The revised plans for SW McPherson Street will entail removal of asphalt and installation of a new 6' sidewalk and curb, improvement of the  sidewalk connection with US Highway 1, installation of landscaping/irrigation on the northwest end of the street, improvement of two driveways in the right-of-way, and the milling and resurfacing of SW McPherson Street.  The proposed improvements will enhance the overall streetscape project. A revised plan of the proposed improvements will be presented by staff at the meeting.
