Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
On August 14, 2017, the City of Stuart City Commission awarded RFP No. 2017-168: Debris Monitoring Services to the top two ranked firms, the primary contractor Thompson Consulting Services of Lake Mary, Florida and the secondary contractor Landfall Strategies, LLC., of Sarasota, Florida.
This agreement has a renewal provision under the original terms, conditions, prices, and specifications for the third year of four (1 year) renewal periods. Contract performance has been satisfactory with both the primary and secondary Contractors, and both firms have agreed to the renewal. Staff recommends the renewal period effective September 1, 2020 through August 31, 2021.
