APPOINTMENT OF COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT BOARD (CRB) MEMBER, TOM CAMPENNI TO SERVE ON THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY (CRA) (RC)

Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:

Per Section 8.00.05.(A) of the City's Land Development Code, CRA states the following: The city commission, plus two members of the community redevelopment board, shall be the community redevelopment agency for the city, in accordance with F.S. § 163.357. The city commission shall appoint the two members of the community redevelopment board to serve as members of the community redevelopment agency for a term of four (4) years.

CRB member Mr. Nathan Ritchey resigned from the CRA on May 6, 2020 and at the June 2, 2020 CRB Meeting, the board voted and approved Mr. Tom Campenni as the new CRA board member. Note: Mr. Pete Walson remains the other CRA board member.

This item is seeking Commission approval to add Mr. Tom Campenni to the CRA board.
