Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
This solicitation was advertised in the Palm Beach Post on January 6, 2020. Simultaneously released on-line by DemandStar who notified 725 potential proposers and issued 72 RFP packages to planholders. The Stuart Procurement & Contracting Services Office issued two (2) RFP packages to individuals and firms who had expressed interest in proposing on this project. Nine (9) proposals were received by the closing time and date of 2:30 pm, Wednesday, February 19, 2020.
A five (5) member selection committee evaluated the responses based on the following criterion: Firm Qualifications, Experience, Project Approach and Schedule, Project Understanding, and Quality of Submittal. The Selection Committee determined that it was in the City’s best interest to award CAPTEC Engineering, Inc.
