Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
On December 12, 2018, the City of Stuart City Manager awarded RFP No. 2019-200: Temporary Employee Services. These services are requested throughout the year, on an “as needed” basis. This agreement has a provision for renewal under the original terms, conditions, and specifications for four (4) additional one (1) year periods. Contract performance has been satisfactory with the firms; and the firms have agreed to the renewal. Staff recommends renewal of this agreement for the 1st of four (4) possible one-year renewal periods effective January 15, 2020 through January 14, 2021.
The City utilizes temporary services mainly in the Water Distribution and Collection and Sanitation divisions.
