OF STUART, FLORIDA, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
This solicitation was advertised in the Palm Beach Post and DemandStar on September 26, 2019. Demandstar notified six hundred and sixty-nine (669) potential bidders and issued thirty seven (37) bid packages for this project. Nine (9) bids were received by the bid opening date and time of 2:30 pm. October 25, 2019.
The repair services are used on an as needed basis. The bidders submitted fixed unit pricing. Hinterland Group submitted the lowest bid based on a sample repair. Repairs with a cost below $50,000 will be approved by the City Manager. The contract is a two agreement with three one-year renewals periods.
