RESOLUTION No. 70-2019, BUDGET AMENDMENT #12; A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF STUART, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING BUDGET AMENDMENT No. 12 TO THE 2018-2019 WATER SEWER FUND; APPROPRIATING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR A CHANGE ORDER TO REBUILD-IT SERVICES GROUP FOR ADDITIONAL REPAIR WORK NEEDED ON THE CLARIFIERS AT THE CITY'S WATER RECLAMATION FACILITY IN THE AMOUNT OF $155,339.00, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
During the renewal and replacement of the internal components of the three (3) clarifiers at the City's Water Reclamation Facility it was determined the existing walkways and skimmer systems were in very poor condition.
The walkways and skimmer systems are more than 25 years old and need to be replaced.
While the contractor is on-site it will be more cost effective to have these improvements made while the treatment basins are out of service.

From: Water Reclamation Team, Machinery and Equipment $155,339.00
To: Water Reclamation Team, Repair and Maintenance $155,339,00
This budget amendment is a line item transfer only. Renewal and Replacement funds identified for Turbo Blower replacements will be allocated for these component replacements.
