The CRA allocates funding in the amount of $50,000 for the Business Improvement Reimbursement Program FY 2018-19 grant cycle. On January 28, 2019, the CRB/CRA approved an application for the replacement of obsolete and deteriorated windows at the Geary Professional Building in the amount of $10,000. This project was completed.
Since there is a remaining fund balance of $40,000 for FY2018-19 program year, the Board approved the extension of the grant cycle beginning February 1, 2019 for up to 90 days. We received 5 applications and the project details have been provided in the attachments.

Community Redevelopment Board
On May 7, 2019, the Community Redevelopment Board voted 5-1, with 1 member absent, to recommend approval for grant to three applicants including Crump's Lawn Equipment Center, Luna's Italian Cuisine and Auto Experts. The CRB took no action for two applications including Old Colorado Inn Hotel and Elle Salon (It should be noted that these applicants did not attend the meeting to present their proposals). The applicants were advised to attend the meeting in the application and via email. The applicants have been advised to attend the CRA meeting for final approval.
