Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
This solicitation was advertised in the Palm Beach Post on March 28, 2019. Simultaneously released on-line by Onvia (www.DemandStar.com), who notified 141 potential proposers and issued seven (7) ITB packages to planholders. The Stuart Procurement & Contracting Services Office issued four (4) ITB packages to individuals and firms who had expressed interest in proposing on this project. Three (3) proposals were received by the closing time and date of 2:30 pm, Tuesday April 16, 2019.
Procurement Office has checked references and recommends award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Superior Waterway Services, Inc. of Riviera Beach, Florida total cost not to exceed $58,512.00 within the three year term of this contract.
