PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
The Stuart City Commission awarded Request for Qualification No. 2019-300, Underground Utility Construction Services to the top four (4) most qualified firms, Felix Associates, Johnson-Davis Inc., Centerline Utilizes, Inc., and Sunshine Land Design.
Each firm was notified of Work Order #2 on January 29, 2019. A mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on February 6, 2019, all four firms participated. Three of the four firms, Felix and Associates, Inc. of Florida, Johnson-Davis Inc. and Sunshine Land Design submitted bids by the bid opening date and time of 2:30 pm, February 27, 2019.
The Engineer of record Culpepper and Terpening, Inc. recommends award to Felix and Associates of Florida, Inc., the lowest most responsive and responsible bidder, for the total unit price bid amount of $487,332.50.
