CLEAN RESIDENTIAL RECYCLING INCENTIVE PROGRAM
Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
This single-stream residential recycling incentive program was introduced to the community in October, 2015. City staff randomly patrol neighborhoods to spot check blue recycle carts. Recycle carts are tagged with either an Oops Tag or a gold "Star Recycler” tag. Each month, one Star Recycler is randomly selected as the $100 prize winner. All addresses receiving a gold star on their blue cart are entered into an annual $500 Grand Prize Drawing.
