Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
On November 13, 2018 by Resolution No. 108-2018, the City Commission approved the authorization to negotiate with Kimley-Horn.
On November 29, 2018, the selection committee met with Kimley-Horn to discuss developing a scope of work to evaluate PEF for 1.0 MGD Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant and to produce their hourly rate schedule. It was determined that this project will be developed in phases by work authorizations.
The Public Works Division has reviewed the response and determined that was in the City’s best interest to award to the top ranked firm, Kimley-Horn; and request authorization to execute an agreement, subsequent to review and approval by the City Attorney.
