Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
Along with increasing general understanding of the challenges and solutions to sea level, they are building a national coalition of elected officials, businesses, military groups, and community leaders to get the federal government to pay attention to, and provide coastal cities with, necessary policy changes, funds and incentives to address flooding and sea level rise. The intent of the program is to create a unified voice for coastal states at the federal level.
