As a condition to providing water and sewer service to the Stuart Health Park at the intersection of Kanner Highway and Indian Street, the City requires a Utility Service Agreement that identified a requirement to construct an off-site water main to serve the project as well as oversizing a sewage lift station and the extension d a gravity sewer main to serve parcels to the north where an Assisted Living Facility is proposed.
The Utility Service Agreement include provisions where Martin Memorial Medical Center, Inc. will design and construct an oversized sewage lift station and extend a gravity sewer main to their northern property boundary.
The Utility Service Agreement also includes the cost the City will reimburse Martin Memorial for oversizing the sewage lift station and the extension of the gravity sewer main.
Final reimbursement will not exceed $176,510.89, which will be applied to the applicable water and sewer availability fees of $210,206.25.
The property owner of the proposed Assisted Living Facility directly north of the Stuart Health Park will also be required to enter a Utility Service Agreement that reimburses the City for the cost of over-sizing the sewage lift station and the gravity sewer main extension to serve their property.
