Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
In response to a Motion of the Stuart City Commission at the at the Regular Meeting on Monday, September 10, 2018 to identify environmentally friendly alternatives to both Round-Up and Rodeo that contain glyphosate, City Staff recommends the use of SureGuard (granular) and SureGuard (liquid).
As directed, the City Commission has asked that all expenditures related to the Stormwater Fund Balance be presented for Commission review and consideration.
The additional cost to purchase these environmentally friendly herbicides is $8,000.00
