Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
The City of Stuart Procurement Procedures were last revised in 2012. Chapter 2, Article V, Division 4 references a specific position within the City to manage the procurement function. In order to allow for a reorganization of this function and flexibility into the future, staff is recommending changes. The City Manager would establish procurement policies and procedures through Commission approval of a resolution.
