Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
A license agreement between the City of Stuart and Stuart Green Market, Inc. to use the City Hall Annex parking lots and adjacent park area next to the RiverWalk Stage in Downtown Stuart to hold a weekly green market.
NOTES:
1) The Green Market, Inc. agrees to pay for a Stuart PD officer for added public safety and traffic control during peak months (February, March & April) and throughout the year, at the discretion of the City Manager or his designee.
2) The Green Market, Inc. agrees to maintain/clean the restrooms and assure that the trash carts provided by the City are utilized properly.
Funding Source:
N/A - License agreement yields $1,500 annually.
