SHEPARD PARK BOAT TRAILER PARKING IMPROVEMENTS
Summary Explanation/Background Information on Agenda Request:
Resolution No. 23-2019 was adopted on February 25, 2019 and authorized the Public Works Department to apply for grant funds from the Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) Waterways Assistance Program for the construction of the Shepard Park Boat Trailer Parking Improvements project. Subsequent to Resolution No. 23-2019 being adopted, the Public Works Department submitted a 2019 FIND Waterways Assistance Program application package on March 20, 2019 for the project. This presentation will discuss the proposed boat trailer parking improvements included in the application package, as well as, the project time line and project costs for construction.
Funding Source:
Total project cost of $500,000.00 to be budgeted in FY20
FIND Match: $225,000.00
City Match*: $275,000.00
*City of Stuart matching funds to come from the following funding sources:
- Transportation Impact Fees - $50,000.00
- City's Tree Fund - $80,000.00
- CRA - $145,000.00
